The two matches played last week were against GNM and EGS for under-15 and under-17 respectively. Both of these matches where played at Lamberton which is the Arklow Town pitch. Unfortunately Glenart College came out on the wrong side of both matches even though they were competitive and played in a great spirit. It is worthy to note that only one yellow card was issued in over two hours of football, thus a victory for sport occurred. It should be noted that Arklow Town Football continues to be a great supporter of soccer in Glenart College and their continued support is highly valued by all teachers involved in sport in the school.

Teachers travelled to various parts of Leinster to attend inservice in their subject area as part of the new junior cert being rolled out across the country. It is a great way for teachers to meet and interact with other teachers from different schools. This allows sharing of good practice and supports professional development.
