SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

The Johnstown-Coolgreany Christmas party will be held in the Woodenbridge Hotel on Sunday, December 3, at 1.30 p.m. In the past decade we have noticed a significant increase in numbers due to the growth of the parish and people remaining active in their later years. In a departure from tradition and in the interests of accommodating a growing senior population, it has been decided to dispense with the traditional invitations. Attendance at the party is open to those aged 60 and over.

Due to the increasing numbers and to cover the costs of holding the Party, the committee have decided to issue tickets at a cost of €10 per person. This covers lunch and the band afterwards. If you would like to attend this function tickets can be bought from any member of the senior citizen’s Committee. Please phone Mary at 086 3856448 or Rosemary at 087 9639260.
