Network Ireland Wicklow to host Christmas party Sheep informatio­n meeting

NEXT WEEK Network Ireland Wicklow will host their first annual private Christmas Party for profession­al women across the county at the Parkview Hotel, Newtownmou­ntkennedy.

The party, taking place on Tuesday, December 12, will include a festive twocourse meal and mulled wine.

There will also be a Christmas craft fair where members of Network Ireland who are artists and designers will bring along samples of their products making perfect Christmas gifts.

Louisa Meehan, President of Network Ireland Wicklow, said: ‘I am delighted that one year from opening the Wicklow branch we are celebratin­g in style for the first of many Christmas parties, this is a great opportunit­y to celebrate our success as profession­al women through 2018.

‘For those considerin­g joining Network Ireland Wicklow, we would be delighted to have them join us on the evening for a relaxed social event where they can get to know the current members and have some festive fun.’

At the event Jill Blanc will show people how to ‘wow’ their guests this Christmas with stunning table styling and decorating ideas. She will also be demonstrat­ing how to create beautiful table settings in different themes and colour schemes.

Jill Blanc, regularly hosts workshops in Style Confidence and Table Styling with a view to helping everyone gain confidence in their own style choices. WICKLOW Cheviot Sheep Owners in associatio­n with Wicklow IFA are hosting a sheep informatio­n meeting in the Royal Hotel, Glendaloug­h.

The meeting takes place on Wednesday, December 13, starting at 8 p.m..

Guest speakers will include John Lynskey, Chairman of IFA National Sheep Committee; Declan Fennell, Bord Bia ; Declan Byrne, Teagasc and Brian Dunne, Wicklow Uplands Council. All relevant topics relating to the sheep industry will be discussed on the night.

The Wicklow Cheviot Sheep Owners’ Associatio­n has promoted the Wicklow Cheviot sheep since 1926. The associatio­n is made up of Cheviot sheep owners in the Wicklow area, who strive to protect the breed and its owners, as well assist in and promote agricultur­al interests in Wicklow.
