Wicklow Cup draw throws up some tasty encounters

Photo: Dave Barrett MONDAY night’s Wicklow Cup draw has thrown up some very interesting clashes as the competition enters the last 16 stage.
The tie that leaps off the page is the meeting of Rathnew AFC A and Carnew AFC A.
This encounter should be a cracker of a game with Carnew thriving in the Premier but with Rathnew likely to receive a boost now that the GAA season nears an end for the Village players.
Arklow Celtic A will look to continue their Cup journey when they take on Wicklow Town B while defending champions Ashford Rovers will face a tricky tie when they meet Glencormac United in their next outing.
