Roche and Kennedy net hat-tricks in Conary win

Conary United moved up to second spot in Division 3 with a resounding win over Avonmore FC on Sunday.

United ran out 8-2 winners, with Stephen Roche and Andy Kennedy both netting hat-tricks, Eamonn Kennedy and Stephen McCauley adding a goal apiece and Gavin Driver and Jonathan Browne hitting the back of the net for Avonmore.

Aughrim Rangers earned their first win of the campaign when edging out Shamrock Celtic 3-2, with Daniel O’Hare (two) and Shane O’Keeffe getting the goals for the winners.

John Tobin Youth League

Oisin McGraynor continued his red-hot scoring streak as Avonmore FC made it eight wins from eight outings in the John Tobin Youth League.

McGraynor helped himself to four goals in his side’s 7-2 win over Arklow United, with Mark Cullen adding a double and Dale Fluskey also hitting the back of the net.

Kian Marah bagged a hat-trick for Ashford Rovers as they hit Wicklow Rovers ‘A’ for six, with Nathan Doyle (two) and Chris Hudson also scoring in the 6-1 victory and Nathan Sullivan replying for Rovers.

Aughrim Rangers got off the mark with their first win of the campaign as they overcame Wicklow Rovers ‘B’ 4-1, with Shaun Doyle (two), Conor Connolly and Kyle Brody scoring for the winners and Nicky Kearney netting for Rovers.
