Wicklow Hire reaches high stan d ard
WICKLOW Hire and Sales Ltd has been awarded the prestigious SafeHire Certificate from hire sector trade body HAE, a mark of quality that will provide benefits to local customers.
The business was recognised by HAE for its achievements in reaching high standards of customer service, safety and environmental management.
After receiving the certificate, Billy O’Reilly, MD of Wicklow Hire, said: ‘Being a member of HAE gives us the confidence to know there is a respected organised trade body backing us.
‘Membership shows our customers that we can offer a vast range of reliable equipment with a high level of service and advice. It also gives our customers confidence and peace of mind knowing that Wicklow Hire and Sales can offer safe and reliable equipment as we have successfully passed the HAE SafeHire audit and assessment process.’
With 15 employees, Wicklow Hire and Sales Ltd serves most construction sites on the east coast of Ireland.
Key projects undertaken by the business include large housing developments and new schools builds in Counties Wicklow, Wexford and Dublin.
A key element to becoming SafeHire Certified is inclusion in procurement tenders.
In the UK, a number of leading hire companies have reported that national clients and major contractors are beginning to instruct that their hire partners must be SafeHire Certified in order to be considered for inclusion within the supply chain.
