Digital Detox

An Tairseach Dominican Farm and Ecology Centre will host a ‘digital detox’ weekend featuring restorativ­e yoga, winter natural health tips and tricks, nourishing organic food and gentle walks in the organic farm and conservati­on land. A digital detox is a designated period of time where people stop using their digital devices, like smartphone­s, laptops and tablets.

The digital detox will take place on February 10 and 11 and will be facilitate­d by Angie Kinsella from yogaWay.

The cost of the weekend is €240 for a single room or €400 for a twin or double room. Prices include all meals, accommodat­ion and activities. To book a place or make an enquiry, contact 0404 61833. that just like to come along and have a social game. Entry is €4 to cover lights, prizes and refreshmen­ts. No need to register before, just arrive at the club by 7.30 p.m.

The Graded Mixed Doubles Tournament continues this week with round two of the round robin matches scheduled for most evenings.

The DLTC winter league kicks off on Sunday, January 28, and this year, for the first time, the club has entered 11 teams so there is sure to be plenty of court action over the coming weeks.
