Our Intermediate Team had their first outing of the year on Saturday last when they played a challenge game against Kildare side, Suncroft in Donard. With a cold strong wind blowing up the valley it was not a great night for football. Our pitch stood up well to the heavy rain so both teams gave a good display of football. After a fairly robust game the sides finished level. Our team was: Colm Toomey, Kevin and Colm Osbourne, Joe Whyte, Alan Tutty, Eoin and Conor Kelly, Willie Rooney, Mick Daly, Ger Healy, Brian Lennon, Oisin Adler, Darren O’Neill, Alan and Dermot Daly. Subs were: Niall Curran, Harry Mangan, Laurence Daly and Colm O’Neill.
