Coolgreany Community Alert Have invited our local GP Dr Miriam Birch MD to deliver what should be a very interesting talk on DIABETES in the May Byrne House on this Thursday night, February 22, at 8 p.m., if you are affected in any way with Diabetes then come along and hear what is on offer. Margaret Quinn Muintir na Tir Development Officer will also attend, as will our Garda Liaison Officer for the Coolgreany area. Every Welcome to Attend.

Birthday greetings to Rhys Kennedy Ivers Coolgreany, who celebrated his sixth birthday on last Thursday, also birthday greetings and good wishes to Ben Kenny Coolnagloose, and Charlie Graham Ballycoogue, whom will celebrate their eighth birthdays on February 21 and 22. Handball.

HANDBALL LOTTO

The lotto now stands at €4,000, lotto tickets are available in Jim Short’s, Coolgreany post office, O’Rafferty’s. and Liam Clare Snr. A new prize format is now in place, with seven lucky dips worth €30 each and one Sellers Prize.

In the last draw there was one lucky-dip winner Darren O’, Coolgreany, receiving €30 each. Your support is very much appreciated by the club.
