Due to the adverse weather conditions, the Woman’s World Day of Prayer due to take place in the Methodist Church on Friday, March 2, has been postponed until Friday, March 23. It takes place at 7.30 p.m.

This year’s message is ‘All God’s Creation is very good’ and comes from Suriname.

TheWorldDayofPrayerisaninternational ecumenical Christian laywomen’s initiative. with lots of great ideas and talent. The Model Making competition for Under 8 to Under 16s will take place on Saturday, March 23, in Little Ladybirds Playschool from 9 a.m. to noon. Children must register for this with Margaret on (087) 6291828 by March 20. The children need to bring their own materials and bases (which can be painted).

It is time to get teams together for the table quiz which on Thursday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Old School House in Redcross. This always proves to be good fun evening even though teams are competing for a place in the county final. A team is made up of four people under 14. Coach House car park.

Everyone is welcome to walk at their own pace for approximately one hour.
