CAMOGIE REGISTRATI­ON

Donard Glen camogie club are holding their registrati­on evening in Donard Hall on Wednesday, March 7, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Underage player €25, adult player €50 Student €30 and non-playing member €10. Family membership €75. All existing and new members are invited to register for 2018.

JACK O’CONNOR

Jack O’Connor kicked off his general election campaign with a visit to Dunlavin in the company of David Begg. Jack will stand in the Wicklow constituen­cy for Labour.

MARCH FOR LIFE

Please join us on the March for Life in Dublin, to show your support for the eighth amendment. A bus will leave from Dunlavin at 11.30 a.m. on March 10, returning about 6 p.m. Cost of the bus will be €10 – €15 per person, depending on numbers. Please call the parish office (045 401871) before March 6 to book a place on the bus.

The culture bus will depart Dunlavin on April 14 at 9.30 a.m. for a tour of Glasnevin museum, this will be followed by a tour of the Mansion House at 2 p.m. Feel free to travel on the bus and not attend the tours. Bus will depart for home at 5.30 p.m. To book contact 087 9693960 or 087 3272448.

SPRING BALL

St Nicholas GAA are hosting a spring ball in the Imaal Hall on Friday, March 9, Doors open at 8 p.m. Ends 11 p.m. Suitable for first to third year students. Admission €10 which includes a raffle.

FARMERS MARKET

Next Farmers Market will take place on on March 10 at 10 a.m. Great selection of home made and home grown produce.

FAMILY FASHION SHOW

This fundraiser will take place on March 23 in Rathsallag­h Golf Club and once again we would like to take this opportunit­y to thank you most sincerely for your support with all our fundraisin­g over the last four years, and to ask that you might consider supporting this event.

The Community Health and Wellbeing Programme programme continues each Monday ninght in Camphill Hall in Grangebeg. Week four Managing Stress and Anxiety. Week five Suicide awareness.
