St Patrick’s Day parade is on next Saturday. Meet up at church at 11.15 a.m. The Spa date for April 16 has been cancelled. The Drama in Rathangan on Friday, March 23, bus will leaving Lawless’ Hotel at 6.45 p.m. Our trip to Wexford is on Monday, March 19, bus will leave Lawless’ Hotel at 10.30 a.m..
COMMUNITY GAMES
The County Wicklow Cross Country takes place on Monday, March 26, in Avondale Park with registration at 5.30 p.m. with 6 p.m. start. It is for all children attending athletics from under-six to under-16. Please let your coach and Fiona Shannon know that you are interested in entering as we need to register every child online. There is a €2 entry fee per child to be given to a coach that evening. Please let Fiona Shannon know by Friday, March 16, Contact Fiona at 087 2218366.
Also Swimming and Gymnastics was postponed due to the snow. But it has been scheduled again for Sunday, March 25, in Arklow. Closing date for entries to Fiona is March 16.
WMOF/PARADE
This year Aughrim parish have a group in the St Patrick’s Day parade in Aughrim to celebrate and publicize the World Meeting of Families 2018. We are calling on parishioners of the Church of the Sacred Heart, and indeed all members of our community to join our parade group. The theme of our grouping is ‘families’, so bring along as many generations of your family as you can and join in the fun.
