Congratula­tions to the county Senior ladies on their 100 per cent winning record having made the trip to Stabannon in Co Louth on Sunday for a 2pm throw in of their final match in the Lidl NFL Division 4.

Leading at half-time by 0-08 to Louth’s 0-05, the girls maintained their 100 per cent record to run out worthy winners with the final score reading Wicklow 0-12, Louth 0-07. Well done to our own Clodagh Fox, Saoirse O’Reilly, Rose Fagan, Niamh McGettigan and Mick Kavanagh on an excellent league campaign.

Well done to the under-16s county ladies with a 14-24 to 1-2 emphatic win in Tinahely against Kilkenny having lead at half time 9-15 to 1-0.

Congratula­tions to our own Lucy Dunne (team captain) and Zoe Armstrong, Siobhan Gorman, Niamh Caffrey and Naoise O’Reilly.

Our senior ladies headed to Dublin on Wednesday night to take on Ballinteer in the Dublin league. A very strong performanc­e put in by our girls who led at half time 2-04 to 1-03. In the second half with their captain Sarah Delahunt driving them on they were worthy winners with the full time score of St. Patricks 3-11 Ballinteer St Johns 2-07.

Scorers: Erynn O’Brien 1-02, Ashling Hayden 1-02, Luci Hobbs 1-01, Capt. Sarah Delahunt 0-03, Niamh O’Brien jnr 0-02 and Laura Manley 0-01. Well done to Robert and his team.

Two happy boys after under-7 football training this week were our players of the week Rian Kavanagh and James Carroll - well done boys!

Hard luck to our under-17 hurlers in the Minor Hurling Division 1 game in Dunbur on Thursday. Final Score: St Patrick’s 1-06 Emmet Carn An Bhua 1-09.

Congratula­tions to Casey and the Senior lads who travelled to Blessingto­n on Sunday morning for an 11am throw-in. At halftime the lads went in a point down Blessingto­n 0-04 St Patrick’s 0-03. In a Applicatio­n drawings on view for all members in the Clubhouse. Committee members will be available on Saturday mornings to discuss the applicatio­n. All members are welcome to view the club’s future!

St Patrick’s GAA Club Registrati­on Day on Saturday, April 7, at 10.30am until 13.30pm in the Clubhouse Dunbur with the club tuck shop and Club Shop both open. All members new and old welcome

Anyone wishing to register their son or daughter is welcome to call to club, Adult players from all teams are also invited to come along and pay their annual membership fee.

Rates: Adult player €120; 3rd level student €90, with your current student card; Apprentice €90; Mentor - non playing adult €70.

Family membership (A) €190 (includes national and secondary school children).

Family membership (B) €260 (includes above and also 3rd level students).

Juvenile up to and including under 10 boys and girls €50.

Juvenile from under 11 to under 18 boys and girls €80.

Our ‘Little Warriors’ will continue on Saturday, April 7, at 10am for boys and girls age 4-6. Fun games, getting to meet new friends and learning new skills, are what our nursery is all about. we look forward to welcoming those back from last year and meeting our new recruits!

The Grand Hotel in conjunctio­n with An Garda Síochána present THE GAA CHAMPIONSH­IP PREVIEW NIGHT on April 13, at the Grand Hotel, Wicklow Town at 7.30pm.

Special guests and prizes: Wexford’s Tom Dempsey – All-Ireland winner in 1996, Waterford’s Paul Flynn – All-Star and Waterford legend, Dublin’s Pillar Caffrey – former Dublin manager and Many more and special guest MC.
