New tourism map launched
WICKLOW Tourism has launched the 2018 edition of its map of the Garden County.
The map is widely used by visitors as they find their way around the county and it lists many attractions, points of interests and activities on offer. It also lists places to stay, eat and shop, as well as numerous services.
‘Our map has proven extremely popular with visitors over the years and is eagerly awaited by tourism providers,’ said Fred Verdier, Manager at Wicklow Tourism. ‘It is a fantastic way to give a quick introduction to all that Wicklow has to offer.’
Pat Mellon, Chairman of Wicklow Tourism, sent his thanks to all the local advertisers who lent their support, ‘without which the production of our map would not be possible.’
Copies of the map are now being distributed around the county and can also be collected from the Wicklow Tourism office at the Murrough in Wicklow town.
The cover image of Glendalough was donated by photographer Anna O’Rourke, who won a competition run on Wicklow Tourism’s social media platforms.
