MYTh bringing the magic and the dreamcoat

MYTh Academy is pulling out all the stops as its production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolo­r Dreamcoat’ takes to the stage for the first time this evening (Wednesday, April 11).

The show will continue each night until Saturday, April 14, in the Holy Rosary Hall in Wicklow town, with each show starting at 7.30 p.m. There will also be matinee show on Saturday at 2.30 p.m.

The cast has been working overtime to ensure this this family favourite – featuring songs such as ‘Any Dream Will Do’, ‘One More Angel in Heaven’ and ‘Those Canaan Days’ – is a hit with the audiences. Poignantly, MYTh’s first every production 20 years ago was also ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolo­r Dreamcoat’ so everyone is hoping to mark this milestone anniversar­y in show-stopping style.

Tickets are available from Earls Newsagents in Wicklow town. Tickets for tonight’s show cost €11 while admissiont­o the other shows is €12.

MYTh Academy has members ranging from age five and upwards.
