Kil­coole the team to beat in Di­vi­sion 3

KIL­COOLE con­tin­ued their march in di­vi­sion 3 of the foot­bal league when they dis­man­tled Shil­le­lagh at home last week­end.

Shil­le­lagh had en­joyed an ex­cel­lent start to the league cam­paign and will no doubt bounce back from this de­feat to the team look­ing un­stop­pable in Di­vi­sion 3 at this stage.

Baltinglass made the trip over the hills to play St Pa­trick’s and came home with the league points in the bag and sec­ond place in the league af­ter a com­pre­hen­sive vic­tory.

Blessington put ail­ing Coolboy to the sword in the sec­ond of a doble header over in the west on Satur­day evening.

Aughrim recorded what could be a very im­por­tant vic­tory and only their sec­ond of the cam­paogn when they de­feated Kilbride/Lacken.

Newcastle gave them­selves their first win of the cam­paign swhen they ac­counted for Hol­ly­wood in Hol­ly­wood.
