Kilcoole the team to beat in Division 3

KILCOOLE continued their march in division 3 of the footbal league when they dismantled Shillelagh at home last weekend.

Shillelagh had enjoyed an excellent start to the league campaign and will no doubt bounce back from this defeat to the team looking unstoppable in Division 3 at this stage.

Baltinglass made the trip over the hills to play St Patrick’s and came home with the league points in the bag and second place in the league after a comprehensive victory.

Blessington put ailing Coolboy to the sword in the second of a doble header over in the west on Saturday evening.

Aughrim recorded what could be a very important victory and only their second of the campaogn when they defeated Kilbride/Lacken.

Newcastle gave themselves their first win of the campaign swhen they accounted for Hollywood in Hollywood.
