Tallaght City picked up three points in the Andy McEvoy Premier Division on Sunday when they overcame Roundwood AFC 4-1 at Balrothery School.

The Dubliners got on the scoresheet through Lar McCormack, Graham Moran, Keith Henry and an own goal, with Damien Johnson hitting the back of the net for Roundwood.

Ashford Rovers earned a welcome win as they saw off St. Patrick’s AFC by the odd goal in seven in a thrilling Pat O’Toole Division 1B encounter on Sunday.

Chris Sillery was the main man for the winners, helping himself to a hat-trick, while Shane Farrell also chipped in with a goal and goalkeeper James Boullier impressed.

St. Patrick’s, who had held a 2-0 advantage in the game, replied with a double from Adam Browne and a Paul McGahan strike.
