GERMAN DAY

The German Department had a great celebration of the german language and culture on Thursday, April 26. All the students got involved and enjoyed a fun day of games, quizzes and tasting of German food among other activities. Thanks to the German Department for organising and the German students for supporting.

TRACK AND FIELD

A group of TY students are looking forward to their trip to Microsoft, Sandyford, Dublin on Thursday, May 3. They will get to find out about the opportunities in the IT sector. It should be a worthwhile trip for all.

TY PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP

The TY photography students will enjoy a day out to Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfalls on May 3 to practise their photography skills learned to date. We hope they have a great trip and we look forward to seeing the resulting photos.

COFFEE MORNING

After wrapping up a hugely successful TRI Ireland Interschools League by finishing in 6th place, the EGS Showjumping team have been invited to compete in the School’s Team Open Championship at the famous Balmoral Show in Northern Ireland on Saturday 19th May. This is a first for the school and preparations are under way for the trip. We wish this young team of Robert Cherry, Lauren Codd, Jazmine Arthur and Sophie Bohm Leahy all the best.
