Well done to our County Senior football panel and management on their championship win over Offaly on Sunday last and all the best in the next round against Dublin on Saturday, May 26 in Portlaoise .

The combination drawn in the club lotto draw on Monday, April 30, was 1, 4, 13, and 20. There was no jackpot winner.

Elaine Timmins c/o Walkers was the sole match three winner Elaine won €100.

The next draw with the jackpot at €2,500 was scheduled for Monday last April 14.

The Junior A football team after a couple of weeks of inactivity ( not of their own making) return to competitive action on Friday next, April 18, in the Division 3 Cup competition when Knockananna are the visitors to the Fairgreen. Throw in is at 7.30pm. Do come along and give the lads your support.

The club annual golf classic will take place in Coolattin Golf Club on Sunday, June 3. Golfing enthusiasts we would appreciate your support. Tee off times are available from 2pm to 4.30pm. Lar Behan is the man at the helm and can be contacted at 087 2785242.

Well done the St. Mary’s under-13 football panel and management who got back to winning ways with an impressive display against Newcastle on the Fairgreen on Monday last.

This Coolkenno/Shillelagh combination have shown remarkable improvement in only their second season, huge credit to everyone involved and also nice to see the increased attendance numbers to offer the young lads support.

The under-11 football team continued their unbeaten start to the season when after a thriller they accounted for an impressive St. Kevins side on the Fairgreen on Wednesday, May 2.

After their early season exploits this talented group are now operating in a higher division
