FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Congratulations to all those from second class that made their First Holy Communion last Saturday in Kilmacanogue Church. Thankfully it was a glorious day and warmest congratulations are extended to Nathan Bownes, Matthew Brady, Nicholas Carr, Eabha May Conti, Alex Cunnane, Isabelle Draper, Luke Dunne, Cillian Flynn, Holly Gaskin, Dara Hunt, Killian Kearns, Aisling Kelly, Saoirse Lavery, Grace McBrearty, Ben Merrigan, Cian Moore, Katie Moore, Oscar Moran, Julieanne Mulligan, Darragh Murray, Seán Murray Quinn, Daisy O’Reilly, Lucas O’Sullivan, Ella Power, Hazel Prendergast, Darragh Redden, Tadhg Reynolds, Lexie Tighe and Emma Wylie.

A huge thank you is also extended to their teacher Ms Eibhlin De Bruin, who had prepared the children so well for this day over the last few months. The traditional Communion reception took place afterwards in the school which was enjoyed by all. It is always a wonderful day in our parish and last Saturday proved no different, well done to all.

WEDDING BELLS

A meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 29, from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Parish Hall for parishioners from Kilmacanogue to discuss issues relating to the parish itself. Co-ordinators for the meeting will be John Welsby, Celia Flynn and Fr Bernard. All parishioners are invited to attend, but if you cannot make it but would like to still raise any issue, please contact any of the above through the parish office.
