It was a great performanc­e with an exhibition of team play in the first half which laid the foundation for the win. Players to catch the eye were Jamie, Ryan, Tyler and Joseph.

Well done to our under-11 hurlers on Wednesday, who had a great win vs Éire Óg on a score line of 8-3 to 2-1.

Well done to our under-7s and 9s who played against Glenealy and Aughrim on Friday, May18.

Training continues Tuesday nights for these lads and our under-11 hurlers.

There was a great turnout at the football Go Games in the complex on Friday where Avondale played along with St. Pats and Kilcoole.

We had 20 under-7s who played extremely well and continue to improve every week.

The under-9s had 16 players togged out and all played well and with some lovely teamwork and they scored some great goals and points in their three matches tonight.

Thanks to everyone who helped out tonight so everything could run smoothly.

The Academy will be on every saturday from 9.30 to 10.30am

Can anyone who has the juvenile Hell and Back sponsorshi­p cards please start returning them to the club.

The club are having a First Aid course in the complex on Thursday, May 31.

The Juvenile club are going to help clean up the town on Tuesday evening in preparatio­n for the Cartoon Festival.

Meeting up in the Market Square at 6pm. Looking forward to seeing as many juvenile members as possible to support this event.

A big congratula­tions to all the Rathdrum boys and girls who celebrated their first holy communion on Saturday.
