All our juvenile teams are always looking for more players and volunteers so if you want to get involved with any aspect with either a boys or girls team give our secretary Tom a buzz at 087 6611480.

All membership is now overdue and as we are operating a strictly no pay no play policy it is advisable to please pay asap as the deadline has long passed.

No winner of the club lotto last week. The numbers were 1, 16, 24, and 25. Nobody matched three numbers. Next week’s match three will be €400.

Baltinglas­s GAA club are looking for girls to join who were born in 2008/2009. Training takes place every Saturday morning at 10am in our club pitch. All girls are welcome, come join a great team, have fun and make new friends.

The Junior A team play Kilcoole in the Division 3 final on Friday in Aughrim at 7.45pm. All support welcome.

Wicklow Minors – The Wicklow lads beat Dublin in Parnell Park last Wednesday with goals from Kevin Quinn and Eoin Darcy which helped Wicklow to a four-point win, 2-6 to 0-8.

Those two first-half goals had Wicklow six points to the good at the break, 2-4 to 0-4, and although they only managed two more points in a low-scoring second half, it was enough to see them home.

Wicklow’s win sees them leapfrog the Dubs into second place in Group 1, and victory in their final round robin match when they play already-qualified Meath on July 3 in Aughrim at 7.30pm will see them into the semis at Dublin’s expense.

Wicklow Ladies – Hard luck to the ladies and management who lost to Laois on Sunday in the Leinster Intermedia­te Championsh­ip Final in Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow. Final score 2-13 to 0-13. Well done to our super club ladies Kim Connors and Shona O’Connor. Well done also to our young under-12 players Robyn Brennan and Leila Shannon who took part in an exhibition at the interval.

Senior Ladies – Football Championsh­ip begins this Saturday, July 7, at home against Baltinglas­s at 7pm. Please support.

Under-16 girls – Under-16 girls White away to Carnew at 7.30pm.

Under-14 girls – At home against Valleymoun­t at home on Tues 3 Jul at 7pm.

Under-10 girls – So proud of all our little under-10 girls on Saturday, June 30, who were brilliant in that heat. They played some great football, Meabh Doyle our super defender for the future, how she caught some of them balls I do not know. Well done. A win against a strong Kildare team, Milltown.

Under-11s – Under-11 Wicklow boys on Wednesday, June 27. Blue squad. The lads were at home to St Pats and played some nice football to produce great scores and won well. Few things to work on in training but well done to the lads.

White squad were away to St Pats. Tackling were excellent and they came away with a great win. Well done to coaches and parents for travelling on very warm night. Red squad were at home to Stratford/Grangecon and started like rockets and finished the same. Excellent scoring and team play and came away winning in the end.

Under-11 boys reschedule­d games tonight Friday, June 29. Blue squad fielded nine players against Dunlavin and again played some very nice moving football and won out in the end.

White squad were away to Kilmac and despite battling right to the end lost by two scores. Special mention to Orlagh Murphy for playing this game with us tonight at very short notice.
