Henry James’ novel is transmuted to a modern setting in this disturbing drama. Onata Aprile is Maisie, a likeable six-year-old girl who’s beginning to realise her parents are indifferent to her welfare. Rock singer Suzanne (Julianne Moore) and art dealer Beale (Steve Coogan) are too busy fighting to realise the damage they’re doing, and things get worse when they separate.
