Druids Glen unveils new look
DRUIDS Glen Hotel and Golf Resort has unveiled its brandnew look, following refurbishment work in the lobby and bar areas.
€90 million has been invested into the resort over the past five years.
The first alteration to the footprint of the original hotel, which was built in 2002, was made earlier this year to reveal the new Garden Rooms and Bar. This was designed to extend the area of the existing bar and pavilion and the gardens and woodland that are part of the 12th and 13th holes of the Druids Glen golf course can be viewed from the new outdoor terrace.
Along with the extended bar area, Druids Glen has also refurbished Sycamore Lounge, its lobby area, extending guest seating spaces with hand-crafted Irish furniture.
‘We are delighted to be able to unveil the new Sycamore Lounge and Garden Rooms and Bar,’ said Edward Stephenson, CEO of Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort. ‘It has been an exciting couple of months as we have seen the refurbishment come to life, which has been a significant investment for us this year.’
