SHEEP SALE - JULY 5: A total of 1,640 sheep on offer saw lamb prices back €2 - €5 on last week with improved trade for cull ewes and good demand for breeding ewes. Prices as follows.

Lambs: Over 50kg €110 – €122; 45 – 49kg €101 – €110; 40 – 44kg €92 – €104; 35 – 39kg €78 – €94; 30 - 34kg €65 – €83

Ewes: Heavy Cull Ewes €115 – €141; Light Cull Ewes €55 – €110; 3 & 4 Year old Breeding Ewes €110 - €135
