QOP YOUTH CLUB

Following almost fifty-one years of terrific fulfilment and responsibility of setting up and running the Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club Albert is gradually reducing his role in the club. The club has a great yearly programme with over 100 items annually, and there is a system in place which should ensure continuity into the future.

Paul Temple is the senior leader who with the dedicated voluntary committee has the great job and the honour of bringing the club along for at least the next twenty five years, and with his long experience in the club he is certainly the man for the job.

DIVING CLUB

Bray Divers have returned from a fantastic week of scuba diving at Hook Head. Divers were Brendan Moran, Sharon Regan, Albert Kerr, Dave McKeon, and Dave Kerr.

Dive sites included the Lighthouse Gully, the Blowhole, Solomon’s, the Grotto, the Cathedral, off Slade Harbour, and the wreck of the Sleezeen. Many under water photographs were taken but the most spectacular were some fantastic shots of sticklebacks. Visibility under water was up to 15 metres.

The club will organise many more trips to this area during the next two months.
