Tinahely’s favour. Kilmac made the worst possible start and trailed 1-06 to no score before Mick Whelan slotted over a point and then trailed 2-08 to two points before a Rob Conan goal breathed life into the team again leaving it 3-08 to 1-04 at the break. Manager Mark King issued some stern words during the break and Kilmac were a new team at the restart with Mick Whelan and Josh O’Callaghan hitting the net but the damage was done at the start and Tinahely ran out eightpoint winners. Next up is a mustwin game against Coolkenno on Friday week.
