The ladies team played local rivals An Tochar in Kilgarron, this match finished a draw meaning An Tochar could not progress to the Division 3 league final against Baltinglass.

Cúl Camp - Well done to the 67 boys and girls who took part in the Enniskerry Cúl Camp which finished on Friday. They all deserved a well earned rest after a very busy week!

We had a wet start on Monday morning, but the sun shone down on us for the rest of the week and the kids had a great time practicing their skills and playing games.

Special congratulations go to Sean and Cliodhna who were awarded boy and girl of the camp. A big thank you to Eddie Leonard and his team for a well run and fun camp.

Well done to our own Mark Evans who performed well with the county under-15s at the weekend.

The county under-15’ competed in the first series of games in the Alan Mangan Tournament in Offaly on Saturday afternoon with three games of twenty minute halves so over 140 minutes of football was played.

A comprehensive win against Leitrim in the first game was followed a comfortable win over Wexford (2) in the second game.

In the final game against Fermanagh the lads were seven points up with just 10 minutes left to play but conceded three goals in a five minute period and were unlucky then not to get an equaliser in the last minute with the opposition keeper pulling off unbelievable save.

However, there was many positives to take from today, this group of guys have shown excellent application over the past month in particular and the future is bright for this group.

Our ‘Little Warriors’ will continue on Saturdays at 10am for boys and girls age 4-6. Fun games, getting to meet new friends and learning new skills, are what our nursery is all about. We look forward to welcoming those back from last year and meeting our new recruits!

Thanks to everyone who supported the ‘Lucky First Goal’ scratch card fundraiser organised by our Senior Footballers. The time of the first goal scored in the World Cup final was timed at 17 minutes 54 seconds.
