SUNDAY GAME, RTE, SUNDAY 3PM

Hurling has delivered in spades this summer in terms of high quality sporting entertainment and last weekend’s All Ireland semi finals in Croke Park were no exception.

Both games went to extra time and while Limerick pulled clear of Cork in the second semi final, there was nothing to separate Galway and Clare in Saturday’s semi final.

So the two teams resume their quest to reach the All Ireland final in Semple Stadium this Sunday.

There is football action too this weekend with the final round of matches in the new Super 8s. Kerry have a slim chance but they need to win and hope Galway beat Monaghan, while winner takes all between Donegal and Tyrone.
