The GAA Cúl Camps in Avondale this year is on from August 13 to 17. Camps run from 10am to 2.30am.

The cost is €60 for one child, €50 for a second child and €40 for the third and any other child.

Closing date to register us 12 noon on Friday, August 10, and you must register online as you cannot register on the morning of the Cúl Camps.

The second period was an exciting score-fest which saw Éire Óg still five points down with six minutes to go and defeat seemed inevitable. Ach ní mar a shíltear a bhítear and bordering on the miraculous na Clocha Liatha succeeded in chalking up 3-1 in those last six minutes to win by five points. Lady luck played an important part in the victory as Bré struck the uprights on three occasions early in the second half. Final score: 8-5 to 5-9.
