Indian food workshops return to An Tairseach

-

SUKHI’S monthly Indian food workshops continue at An Tairseach Ecology Centre, Wicklow town.

Participants will learn how to cook healthy, tasty and easy Indian food on a budget.

The workshops will be held on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at An Tairseach Ecology Centre.

The first of the classes will be held on Saturday, September 1, where you can learn how to make homemade Indian breads such as aloo paratha (potato stuffed bread), cheese paratha, roti and poories.

These breads are perfect as part of an Indian meal, as a brunch or lunch or as a snack for picnics and lunchboxes.

There will also be a shared tastings session at the end of each class and a ‘recreate at home’ recipe card to take home.

There is a vegan option included within all workshops. Previously Sukhi ran a very popular five-week Indian food workshop at An Tairseach during the months of May and June, with evening and morning options for those interested in participating. She was also part of the Midsummer Celebration held at An Tairseach in June which also featured past Dominican College Wicklow student Darina Allen.

To book your place call An Tairseach Ecology Centre on 0404 61833.

The cost is €20, inclusive of all materials and ingredients.
