Celtic Stars played a friendly on Thursday last and came away winning 4-3 in a tough game with Alan Nolan scoring two and Paul Nolan and Josh Byrne. On Monday we went to Camolin and came from behind to win 3-2 with Jason Cowman and John Ryan scoring two including a screamer.

Tinahely Variety Group are holding Auditions for two oneact plays in the Courthouse, Tinahely this Wednesday night (August 22) at 8 p.m. Both plays will be staged in Courthouse for three nights the first weekend in November. The plays are ‘A View from the Obelisk’ by Hugh Leonard and ‘Two Wrongs’ by Scott Caan. A View to the Obelisk has one male, one female and a boy teenage boy about 16/17. Two Wrongs has two Male and one female cast. Come along and audition and join us in the fun.

Monday, August 27 - school will reopen for First year students only from 8.50 a.m. to 12.25 p.m. Please note the school buses are not running till Tuesday, August 28. Tuesday, August 28 – First year students and sixth year (Leaving Certificate) students only from 8.50 a.m. to 12.25 p.m. Wednesday, August 29 – All students from 8.50 a.m. to 3.45 p.m.
