ARTISTS BEAMING
ARTISTS FROM SUNBEAM HOUSE SHOWCASE A WIDE VARIETY OF MEDIUMS, WRITES ESTHER HAYDEN
AN eclectic range of art was unveiled at Arklow Visual Art Studio last Tuesday night.
The works are part of the Creatives Group Show which sees a local group of artists from Sunbeam House Services.
The artists work in a variety of art mediums from painting, felting, pyrography, print, upcycling textiles and embroidery.
The group of 28 artists have completed a wide range of work in their chosen medium offering this exhibition something to interest everyone.
The exhibition which opened last Tuesday evening runs until this coming Friday and is already garnering rave reviews.
Participating artists are: Aisling Maguire, Cathy Mack- en, Daphne Hollingsworth, David Stafford, Dervla Fallon, Emma Reynolds , Emma Kinsella, Geraldine Stokes, James Ledwidge, Jamie Clarke, Johnny McGrainer, Killian Byrne, Mark Hayward, Martin O’Brien, Michael Grummel, Myles Kavanagh, Nicola Riley, Patrick Grummel, Rosie Walshe, Sean Sheeky, Selina Whyte, Shirley Johnson, Tara Cawley, Tom Lawler, Tomek Rozanski and Wayne Scarfe.
There is also a group textile hanging created with artist Maeve Hunter who worked with Eimear Wixted, Grainne Lawlor, Kiera Broe, Nicola Appleby, Paul Roche, Rachel Langrell and Tomek Rozanski on a collaborative textile workshop.
