Wicklow shining on far flung fields
TWO Wicklow players achieved notable success in far flung fields with championship success for their respective GAA teams.
Former Wicklow ladies football star Clodagh Fox, a member of the St Pat’s club was named player of the game in the Toronto GAA ladies Senior final for Durham Robert Emmets GFC and was instrumental in their victory.
Aughrim native Oisin Doyle was also in celebratory mood when he helped his side to victory in the North American GAA Championships. Oisin, a member of the Aughrim side that defeated Ballymanus in the IFC final of 2015, said the championships were magical.
