BRAY BOWLS

-

Another season just finished. Our Division 6 team went to Westmanstown last Wednesday and brought home one point.

They complete their programme tonight (Wednesday) away to Kenilworth.

They are guaranteed to finish in second place. Well done to non playing captain Owen Byrne and his merry band of bowlers.

Divisions 1 and 2 finished the season last Saturday with defeats to Dun Laoghaire. Division 1 went down 0/7 at home. They finished in seventh position in the league.

Division 2 went down 1/6 away in Dun Laoghaire where Nick Hewlett, Eddie Condren and Roddy O’Leary were to the fore.

The team finished in sixth place in the league. All in all it was a mixed bag of a season with Division 4 ending in sixth place and the ladies ending up in mid table as well.

Pride of place goes to Vets 1 and Vets 3 on winning their leagues and to Division 6 on getting second spot.

An honorable mention to Vets 3 on finishing in third position. All attention now switches to our club championships and a full report will follow next week.

The Winter League kicks off on October 13 and Bray have entered two teams.

Finally, congrats to Sean O’Mealoid on winning the club lotto.
