When Rainie finds Jack drinking alone at home, she encourages Max to talk to his brother. Max tries to get Jack to confide in him, but when conversation turns to other matters, Max admits that his marriage to Rainie is just a sham. Rainie is mortified when she finds out what Max has done.

Later, Stacey gets involved and gives Max some advice, leaving him with food for thought over how he feels about Rainie.

Meanwhile, the shooting suspects all protest their innocence to each other.

Elsewhere, Sophie tells Carmel that she’s in trouble with a local gang after grassing them up. This proves to be true when they arrive and cause a scene, so Carmel infuriates Kush by giving Sophie somewhere safe to stay.
