High achievers celebrated at Avondale CC
THERE was great excitement in Avondale Community College on Wednesday as the Junior Certificate results were presented.
Both pupils and teachers were in high spirits as this year’s results yielded some excellent achievements at the Rathdrum school.
There was particular success for Lubna Asmat who achieved a clean sheet of A grades while Francesco John Canosa and Ava Whelan achieved all As and one B.
The anticipation of top results following a long spell of hard work, solid commitment and willingness to take all advice given to them ensured that the Avondale Community College students would jump for joy as they were presented with their results on Wednesday afternoon.
Parents, who had been invited to the occasion, joined with staff in congratulating students on their exceptional achievements.
