Vintage day and fête

A VINTAGE day and harvest fête takes place on Sunday, September 30 in aid of St Saviour’s NS, Rathdrum.

Woolmington’s Farm, Rockstown, Rathdrum will play host to this exciting event which is set to feature vintage displays and threshing demonstration, homemade cakes, bakes and produce, afternoon teas, horseshoe toss, welly throwing, priz- es for best costumes, bottle stall, raffle and lots more to amuse and entertain.

Admission is free but donations will be accepted in aid of the local school.

Visitors are asked not to bring pets as this is a working farm.

The venue is sign posted from Glasnarget Bridge and the eircode is A67XV10. The annual bargain hunt for Wicklow Methodist Church will be held on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Church Hall. There will be stalls selling clothing, homeware, jewellery, books, toys, cakes and more.

Everyone is invited to come along and have a browse, bag a bargain and a catch-up with friends.
