Tulfarris beamed into 400m homes during golf event

-

TV viewers in 400 million homes worldwide were treated to spectacular images of Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort last week as part of the Sky Sports coverage of the PREM Group Irish Masters tournament at the stunning Blessington venue.

The tournament is part of the EuroPro Tour series which pits some of the best up-and-coming professional golfers against each other in venues all over Britain and Ireland. The PREM Group Irish Masters was the only event on the series to take place on the island of Ireland.

Action from the final day of the three-day tournament was broadcast on the Sky Sports Golf channel at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, and featured interviews from Jim Murphy, CEO of PREM Group, Pat Barrett, Business and Golf Development Manager at Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort, and Simon Thornton, the resort’s Touring Professional. A highlights package is available on Sky Sports Catch Up for any viewer would like to look back on the event.

The two-hour package portrayed the enthralling finish to the tournament which eventually concluded with English golfer Mark Young winning the top prize of £10,000 following a three-way play-off with Tomasz Anderson and Ashley Mansell.

Ninety-eight television networks broadcast footage of Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort looking absolutely stunning, thanks to the overhead drone footage which captured all the beauty of the Blessington Lakes which surround the parkland course.

‘We are delighted with the coverage that was shown on Sky Sports this week as it really helped to showcase what a beautiful venue Tulfarris is to play golf in,’ said Jim Murphy, CEO of PREM Group.

‘It was great to settle down and watch the Sky Sports Golf channel and see the fruits of the hard work that the team down there put in to organising such a fantastic tournament. It gave great exposure to PREM Group and to Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort as a whole.’
