LIGHT UP OUR VILLAGE

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Tinahely. A great team of dedicated volunteers have decked out the village with trees and lights in preparation for the big switch on Sunday December 9.

The festivities commence at 4.30 p.m. on the Market Square with the unveiling and blessing of the new outdoor crib, carol singing and the switching on of the Christmas lights. The Christmas lighting ceremony will be a fun filled evening with festive cheer.

Santa Claus will make his arrival and the girls and boys will have an opportunity to meet him in his magical grotto in the Courthouse Arts Centre. A special red Santa Postbox is located outside the Craft Butcher’s shop and children can start sending their letters and wish-lists directly to Santa Claus, The North Pole. Light refreshments will be served.
