Grand Slam

The club held its last event of January last Wednesday and enjoyed a fun night. The winning pair were Harvey and Michael Ryan, who lead the field by a wide margin from the second placed pair of Catherine King and Anthea Goodbody. The club’s two Rose’s (Behan and Morrissey) came next, just a single point behind in third spot. In fourth place were the husband and wife duo of Kay and Teddy Hickson.

The club extends it’s best wishes to Ann McCarthy following an accidental incident on a recent trip to London and wishes her a speedy recovery.

The beginner and novice hour from 6.30 to 7.30 p.m. welcomed a new recruit to the game. There is no charge for this introduction to the game of bridge and the format is relaxed and easy going. Everyone is welcome along
