Tríona Marshall, Tim Edey, David Power and Rithim Orchestra will perform at Mermaid Arts Centre on Friday, February 8, at 8 p.m.

This once-off meeting of established and up-and-coming virtuosos will include stunning guitar and harp playing from leading lights of the traditional music world.
This concert is curated by Eamon Sweeney, Music Network Artist in Residence 2018/19 an initiative of Music Network in partnership with Wicklow County Council Arts Office and Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre.
Triona Marshall has been playing the harp with The Chieftains for over a decade. She is joined by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and singer tim Edey, and renowned David Power on uilleann pipes.
Rithim Orchestra is a Bray based traditional ensemble of 25 young musicians running under the Music Generation Wicklow umbrella.
lThe Degani Trio will present an afternoon of dramatic musical surprises and ornate theatricality, with ‘A Taste of Baroque’ at Whale Theatre in Greystones.
The trio will perform fresh interpretations of the Baroque master works, in collaboration with the acclaimed Eamonn Sweeney on guitar and Ruby Ashley on oboe.
The concert will take place on Sunday, February 10, at 4 p.m. Tickets are €25 or €20 concession at whaletheatre.ie.
