CLASS ACTS ALL ROUND!

OUTSTANDIN­G 2018 CLASS RECEIVE SPECIAL AWARDS

THE 2018 Leaving Cert class of Colaiste Bhride Carnew were presented with special awards last week in the Amber Springs Hotel to mark their academic achievemen­ts.

The event was hosted by the parents council. Principal Linda Dunne thanked the students for being an energetic and colourful class, saying it is their energy and enthusiasm that will help them to move forward. She spoke of how the school community had watched them grow and develop during their time at Colaiste Bhride .

Guest of Honour for the occasion was Dorcas Rothwell, who has been involved with the parents associatio­n for 13 years. She read a reflection from Fr Brian D’Arcy which encouraged students to smile. Mrs Dorcas added that the class should work hard because if they did nothing is impossible.
