It is important that new members of the Chamber Council are elected because they will add a new dynamic to ensuring that the chamber responds to the needs of its members.

You can nominate yourself for election to the Chamber Council by emailing Susana at susana@wicklowcha­mber.ie.

Please note that the closing date for nomination­s for election is Friday, February 22 at 5 p.m.

A full list of nominated members will be circulated to all chamber Members on Monday, February 25. experience­d in supporting bereaved parents, give a short talk about the challenges families face into after the death of their son or daughter.

After the talk there will be an opportunit­y to ask questions of the profession­al speaker and speak to other bereaved parents over a cup of tea or coffee.

The informatio­n evening is a free event.

The March talk will be delivered on the last Monday of the month and at the same venue, The De La Salle Pastoral Centre at 8p.m. and will be delivered by society member Ken Hannigan. His talk will be on Wicklow, James Joyce and his Wicklow contempora­ries.

Society members and friends are at work gathering the fruits of their research for the 2019 Wicklow Historical Society Journal. This will be on the shelves in the coming summer. den additions, and even vintage or antique treasures.

Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early.
