Bray power to opening win over Carnew

BRAY EMMETS ran out comfortable winners in their opening SFL Division 1A clash with Carnew at Old Conna last Friday night.
A goal early in the second half from Diarmuid Masterson set the north Wicklow men off on a charge to the finish line and they wouldn’t be caught by James Hickey’s side despite the best efforts of Conal McCrea.
A low-scoring first half showed the talents of both Tadgh Dornan and Cormac Doyle in both goals as the sides retired with Carnew leading by 0-3 to 0-2.
