MOBILE LIBRARY

The mobile library visits Lynhams car park every second Thursday from midday to 12.50 p.m. The next visits will take place on February 14 and 28. To renew or request items or access databases from your home pc. Phone 087 9135229 or go to wicklow.ie.

BADMINTON CLUB

Classes are on Monday evenings in the Brockagh Centre for Fourth Class (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.) with Fifth and Sixth Classes (8 p.m. to 9 p.m.). On Thursday evenings, secondary school students play between 7 and 8 p.m. Membership costs €60 per child for the year; €16 of this goes directly to Badminton Ireland. The membership fee for senior players is €120 playing time is 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. Contact Finian at 086 2476822.

MORNING YOGA

Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 a.m. This is a gently paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilisin­g the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle.

CHAIR YOGA

Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life.

The class takes students through centering and breathwork, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement while seated or through use of the chair while standing. Call Louise at 087 6032202. (booking is essential).

IRISH DANCING

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Classes cater for any age over three years and all levels including absolute beginners. Registered members of An Comhdhail, fully Garda Vetted and insured.

AA MEETINGS

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night all year round.

POSITION

The Brockagh Centre require a General Administra­tion and Bookkeeper for a busy office in the Laragh Glendaloug­h Area. Duties include input of books and records, bank reconcilia­tions, Vat returns, payroll and general office duties. Excellent opportunit­y to gain experience in a community environmen­t. Flexibilit­y required regarding hours and duties Weekend or evening work may be required.

Requiremen­ts: Good knowledge of bookkeepin­g and accounts procedures good computer skills and ability to work on your own. A working knowledge of Quick.

Books, Thesaurus Payroll and Excel. Good communicat­ion skills and an ability to work within a team environmen­t as well as a good telephone manner.

GO4LIFE GAMES DAY

Wicklow Local Sports Partnershi­p invite you and three others or individual­ly from your group to attend a Go4Life Games Day Wednesday, February 27, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Newcastle Community Centre.

Tea, coffee and Registrati­on 10.30 a.m., light lunch 1 p.m. Out of the games day four players from each of 10 groups will play three different games with a view to forming a County Team to attend the National Games Day Saturday, June 8, in DCU

ANGELIC WORKSHOPS 2019.

There will be three workshops in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh with the first on February 24 (Meet Your Guardian Angel), April 14 (Angels and Crystals), the last workshop takes place May 19 (A Rainbow Day with the Angels).
