NEWTOWN JUNIORS

No games last weekend due to the Bank Holiday weekend but the club did take part in the St Patricks Day parade where we were joined by Jim, Wickla, Charlie Snr, Charlie Jnr and Tommy for their first ever parade in Newtown. Well done to everybody who marched with the club especially the girls and boys who play for the club and who provided loads of colour and made lots of noise.

The following are the fixtures for the week-ending Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24:

Under-8s at home to Avonmore, ko Sunday at 11am.

Under-9s at home to St. Anthonys Green. ko Saturday at 10am.

Under-10s away to St. Anthonys Yellow, ko to be confirmed.

Under-11’s at home to Ashford Rovers, ko Saturday at 12.30pm.

Under-12s at home to Avonmore, ko Saturday at 11.15am.

Under-13s at home to Aughrim Rangers, ko Saturday at 12.30pm.

Fixtures and KO times are subject to change.

All our teams are back in action and we are still looking for new players for a couple of our teams so if you are interested please contact our club secretary.

Our Developmen­t Squad practise every Saturday morning in the Community Centre Sports Hall from 10am until 11am. For all matters relating to training times etc for all our teams please contact our secretary, Hughie, at the contact details below.
