TIDY TOWNS
This month, we are delighted to say we were given €250 at the Pure Mile Awards, held in the Brooklodge Hotel, for keeping litter-free. We extend an open invite for new members to come along to our Tidy Towns meeting on November 12 at 7.30 p.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre. You may have an interest in community involvement, the environment, landscaping, wildlife habitats, or litter control. COUNTRY MARKET/ CAR BOOT SALES
This is held on the second Sunday of the month. Encouraging local and non-local producers of plants, vegetables, crafts etc. Our next event will be on Sunday, November 10, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please prebook indoor spaces early. WALKING GROUP IN THE BROCKAGH
On Monday mornings weekly at 10 a.m. join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour.
CITIZEN’S INFORMATION CLINIC
The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 a.m. till midday on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.
MINDFULNESS AND CRAFT WORKSHOP
Make your own Christmas cards, gift tags, gift bags and handmade presents while learning to switch off and become more mindful. This popular workshop takes place in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Saturday, November 9, 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. All materials and lunch provided. Book with Linda 087 2694954 or mindcraft.ie.
ACTIVE RETIREMENT
The group meets every Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the Brockagh Centre and for lunch once a month at various local venues (new members welcome). Their next monthly lunch will be in Lynhams on November 12.
Our Christmas Tea Dance is on Sunday, November 17, from three 6 p.m., music is by the Wicklow Man. We are looking for prizes for our raffle so if anyone has any unwanted gifts that they would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated.
Annual Christmas shopping trip is on Wednesday, November 20. Also, the Christmas party is on Tuesday, December 10, in Co. Meath. There are a limited number of places left, call Denise at 0404 45600 asap for further info.
Our Christmas lunch will be in the Wicklow Heather on December 17. We are currently organising our breakaway for next year, further details to follow.

CURVY WHIRLIES FITNESS CLASS
Sunshine Fitness is proud to announce that our ‘Curvy Whirlies’ plus-sized ladies class is coming to the Brockagh Centre in Laragh this November 6 This low-impact and fun exercise class will focus on strength building using a mixture of gentle movement, weights and stretching.
