Plans for three council units

- By MYLES BUCHANAN

WICKLOW County Council plan to construct a group housing scheme consisting of three housing units at Ballinteskin in Wicklow town.

Each unit which make up the Part 8 development will have three bedrooms.

The development also includes the construction of a new entrance including a culvert of the stream, and the replacement of the pipes at the existing entrance with a new culvert.

A preliminary examination carried out on the proposed Part 8 development found that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required.

If any person considers that the development would likely have a significant effect on the environment, they should apply in accordance with the provisions of article 120 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2018, to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have such effects.

They must do so before the deadline date of February 19.

Submissions and observations regarding the proposed development may be made in writing to David Porter, Administrative Officer, Housing Section of Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow.

Any submissions should be made on or before 12 noon on Wednesday, March 4 2020.

Submissions may also be made by email via the following address: part8@wicklowcoco. ie or on the Wicklow County Council online Consultation Hub.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the Housing Authority at Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow and Wicklow Municipal District Offices, Market Square, Wicklow up until Wednesday, February 19 2020.
