St. Peter’s continue to lead the way in the Andy McEvoy Premier Division after seeing off Carnew AFC 2-0 at the Back Alley on Sunday.

Noel Stephens and Dan Lacey hit the back of the net for the visitors.

Glencormac remain hot on their heels, however, after edging out third-placed Avonmore FC in a seven-goal thriller.

Nathan Watters (two), Josh O’Callaghan and Simon Doyle scored for the Glens, with Adam Tuke, Ryan Cahill and James Byrne replying.

Wicklow Rovers continued their good run of form with a 7-2 triumph over Ashford Rovers at Ballinalea Park. Luca Rampersaud helped himself to a hat-trick for the winners, while Jack Kelly and Robert Keogh both bagged doubles and Evan Dunne and Robbie Eyre netted for Ashford.

Pat O’Toole Division 1

After winning nine league games in a row Roundwood AFC suffered their first Pat O’Toole Division 1 loss of the season on Sunday.

St. Anthony’s were the visitors to the Vartry Grounds and Dan

Wicklow Town continued their perfect start to the John Tobin Youth League as they hit Aughrim Rangers for six goals without reply at Allen Park on Saturday.

Nathan Sullivan bagged a brace for Town, while Jack Kelly, Reilly Hogan, Callum Kelly and Dylan Kavanagh added a goal apiece.

Leaders Avonmore also won on their travels as they saw off Coolboy 3-0 at Coolboy Community Sportsfiel­d.

Ryan Delamere, Luke Kearney and Cody Reid got the goals for the visitors.
